There is no account and none is ever required. Your plan lives behind an anonymous cookie.

Privacy policy

The whole policy, in plain words. There is no account here, so most of the usual policy does not apply — this is everything.

An anonymous cookie links this browser to its plan. Child names, teacher names, classrooms, addresses, exact sizes, and budgets are stripped at the door and never stored, logged, or sent to anyone.

What this session stores

• A random cookie so this browser can find its own plan. The server keeps only a hash of it, linked to nothing about you.
• The supply-list items you confirmed, saved as structured fields from fixed vocabularies — never the pasted text or the photo itself.
• Children as numbers — child 1, child 2 — with an optional grade. There is no name field anywhere to fill in.
• What you marked as already owned, your alert choices, an optional US state for tax math, and a Season Pass record if one exists.

What is never collected, stored, or shared

• Child names and teacher names
• Classroom and room numbers
• Home or school addresses — geography stops at the state, and only if you set it
• Exact clothing or shoe sizes
• Household budgets and income
• Gift recipients
• Email addresses and phone numbers — alerts are in-app only, so there is no field to type one into

How long things are kept

Uploaded photos and PDFs are parsed and then deleted within 15 minutes, whether parsing succeeded or not. Names, teachers, and room numbers are stripped before anything renders back to you.

Everything else is kept only so your plan is there when you come back. Nothing expires it automatically in this beta; the delete control below removes all of it whenever you choose.

Third parties

Nothing you enter is sold, shared, or sent to a third party. Server logs are restricted to an allowlist of opaque ids and counts, so free text cannot end up in a log even by mistake.

Children

This is a tool for parents and caregivers. There are no child accounts, no login of any kind, no data collected from or about an identifiable child, and no targeted advertising — to anyone, of any age.

Export everything this session stores as a machine-readable file, or delete it all in one pass — both are below, and neither requires contacting anyone.

Plain-language disclaimers

Every number on this site carries its source and date. These are the standing limits to hold us to.

Prices and stock

Prices and stock can be out of date the moment after they are read. Every price shows when its source was checked; stale readings are flagged or hidden rather than passed off as current.

Tax math

Sales tax and tax-holiday effects are estimates from published rates and calendars, always shown with their assumptions. Verify holiday dates with your state's revenue department before counting on them.

Trend labels

Trend labels are evidence summaries, not endorsements. When the evidence is thin, the label says so — 'not enough evidence' is the default, not a failure.

Recall checks

Recall matching runs against published CPSC data and every match links to the official CPSC notice. A no-match result means no match in that data — it is not a safety endorsement of the product.
